Today is my last day of work for a month! One would think that would be exciting, but instead I'm freaking out. I've still got a ton of stuff to do, and I know it's not all going to get done. I don't know why I'm worried about it, I'm planning on quitting shortly after I get back, but my conscience is nagging at me for not doing a good job. Fucking conscience!
I have also pushed back the departure date for my trip. I was planning on leaving tomorrow morning, but I'm not even close to being ready, and I'd like to stick around for the first few days of Stampede. Now I think I'll leave on Sunday, probably try to make it as far as Idaho or possibly Washington on the first day. I can't believe it's almost time! I'm going to bring my laptop with me so hopefully I'll be able to post updates on here fairly often during the trip.

- Now on career number 3, stay at home mom. I tried my hand at geology and then wine making, but this one seems like this career picked me. I've got a Big boy named Atticus, who is 3. He is curious, sweet and funny and soaks up information like a sponge. My little Pippa is 1 and so far appears to be a very driven girl who knows what she wants. My "husband", Chaminda, and I talk about getting married some day but obviously we're not in a hurry.
