Who Needs a Man?

The lack of posts of late are the result of the renos that I've been doing. My mom came out last Sunday and we've been working ever since. We settled into a routine of painting, shopping, painting, knitting. My bedroom is not quite done yet as one roll of the wallpaper is flawed and has to be returned, and my chandelier isn't in yet, but it's looking beautiful. Yesterday was a big day and I feel great about my accomplishments. I single-handedly replaced the door knob and switched the beige electrical outlets with white ones (which required rewiring). I only shocked myself once! When it's done I'll put up the before and after pictures.
