Again, as I have been Debbie Downer lately, I am trying to do what I can to get out of my slump. In celebration of my house being clean I decided to invited some friends over for a tasty dinner tonight.
On the menu:
Olives from Mercato
Olive bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar
Baked brie with pecan caramel glaze and crackers
Grilled rib-eye steak marinated in rosemary, peppercorns and balsamic vinegar
Spaghetti alfredo
Tomato bocconcini salad
Chocolate-cherry cake (supplied by the lovely Alena)
We also tasted many delightful wines, including the Peter Bruce Sauvignon Blanc I was given by the vinter himself! Everything was fantastic, especially the laughs.

It's "spaghetti"...
Sounds delicious though. I wonder how the Canadians pronounce the word "pecan".
Oopsy! I was quite tipsy when I typed that.
As for the "pecan," it varies person to person, but for most Canadians it rhymes with "we ran."
